HYPOTHESIS

Words have a powerful impact on the way we see an interact with one another. Words can spark wars, but they can also spark inspiration. When tasked with one word and a blank page, anything can happen.

 

PLAN OF ACTION

To encroach is defined by Merriam-Webster as: to gradually move or
go into an area that is beyond the usual or desired limits or to gradually take or begin to use or affect something that belongs to someone else or that someone else is using. After deciding to illustrate a physical act of the word, explorations lead to the topic of immigration. A great divide exists in this country between how open our borders should be. The following is a visual representation of both sides of the debate and the elected leader’s public opinion.
